The Land Cruiser is one of Toyota's most recognizable and reliable models. The series itself has been around since the 1950s and has long been a hit among families. Back in 2016, Toyota decided to apply a wide range of updates to the Land Cruiser. The car maker aimed to heighten the Land Cruiser's appeal by adding 8-speed transmission and placing more emphasis on turning the vehicle into a functional entertainment hub for the frequent traveler.

Evidently, the folks over at Toyota remain pleased with those improvements. Going year over year from 2018, nothing of note has changed in the 2019 Land Cruiser.In many cases, that kind of stagnation could be seen as a negative. However, given the impressive capabilities of the 2018 Land Cruiser, there is truly nothing wrong with Toyota opting to run things back with the 2019 model.
