Nearing the end of its third production cycle, the Toyota Highlander gets a few exterior touchups on its two uppermost trims. Otherwise, the midsize crossover SUV virtually remains the same model as that of the previous model year. The 2019 Toyota Highlander is split into five trims: LE, LE Plus, XLE, SE, and Limited. Although there are three rows of seats in the cabin, the LE and LE Plus seat up to eight people due to their second-row bench-style seats, and the SE goes with a pair of captain's seats in the same row reducing maximum capacity to seven.
